Ethical work culture
We practice what we preach when it comes to ethics. We want our staff to really love working at Fat Beehive and have a say in shaping the company’s future. With that in mind, as well as all our staff benefits, we share financial and strategy information once a month and operate as non-hierarchically as possible. For a small agency, we’re proud to have a generous and progressive family leave policy. Maternity leave is 12 weeks at full pay, 14 weeks at 50% pay. Paternity/Long-term partner parental leave is 2 weeks at full pay, 2 weeks at 50% pay.
In 2020, we also supported the launch of The Fat Beehive Foundation, an independent grant-giving charity, supporting the digital work of other small UK charities.
Diversity and inclusion
Fat Beehive aims to be an inclusive organisation, where diversity is valued, respected and built upon. All staff undertake Equality and Diversity Training and we have a dedicated Equality and Diversity Policy [download PDF] that sets out what we do and how we measure diversity.
We’re also part of the Leonard Cheshire Change 100, supporting disabled students into employment.
